Low Pressure casting

Melting process which exploits the pressure of about 1.2 bar to allow the aluminum to the liquid state to penetrate into the mold. Unlike the fusion of gravity, the use of a type of alloy with technical treatment gives greater compactness to the jet and remarkable mechanical properties, allowing significant reductions in weight to equal the maximum load endured.
Severity: fusion process that exploits the force of gravity to slide in the mold the casting of aluminum in the liquid state which, cooled with water, leads to the solidification in the form of the wheel.

Alloys used: G-AlSi10Cu and G-AlSi7Mg.
